The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) of the United States and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). USMLE marks are reported to grant medical license in the United States and its territories to practice medicine. Step 1 Step 1 consists of seven sections of 50 questions each. The student will have one hour to complete each section. Step 1 covers various topics that fall under the area of basic science.like anatomy physiology and biochemistry.
