It provides you your choice of a woodgrain stainless steel clear see-through plastic or yellow construction ruler and reading guide - plus you can design your own custom skins too. With A Ruler for Windows you can use your screen normally while layering one or more rulers over of your work. As you can see through the clear plastic ruler you can even continue your typing under it. Special 2x 3x and 4x modes allow you to take a snapshot of your whole screen and magnify it so you can measure between very fine points more easily. The ruler can be flipped horizontally or vertically resized to an exact length or resized by dragging it to a desired length. Ticks can be placed on which ever long edge you prefer. You can click near a tick to have a measuring line automatically drawn at an exact location. The ruler length can be toggled on and off and the numbering can be reversed.
