SpectroHelp software helps color-blind persons to work with color and can be used for educational purpose by people with normal color vision. SpectroHelp includes several tools and modes of operation. The image for processing can be obtained in several ways including the automatic screenshots or by video screen capture (it is useful for example for viewing of films or scrolling web-sites and documents). You can work with the obtained pictures with the help of the following tools: * In case of selecting a color with the mouse the given color is animated all over the picture: it is useful for complex diagrams charts etc. * a color tooltip near the cursor gives the information about the color on which the cursor indicates in the form of graphic representation of brightness of certain channels and exact digital values of each color channel. * various systems of color correction. Filters mixing color channels and allow to perceive an extended rating of colors through less number of channels. * looking through the information about colors by their names.
